Microphone audio recorder | Meet+

If you have issues with Meet+ audio recorder, follow these steps to check the microphone:

  1. At the operating system level: Make sure the microphone is active in the settings of your operating system. Also make sure that access to the microphone is allowed in your browser.
For Windows, go to "Settings > Privacy > Microphone".
For macOS, go to "System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone".

  2. Check microphone permissions in your browserMake sure microphone access is allowed for Meet+ in your browser settings. To do this, go to the privacy and security settings of your browser, then to the "Authorizations" or "Microphone".

  3. Use a private navigation window: To check if a microphone permission pop-up appears, open a private navigation window (or incognito) and go to Meet+. This will allow you to test without saved settings or extensions that could block permission.

  4. Accept permission: On first use in the browser, after clicking on the record button, an authorization pop-up appears, click on "Allow" to allow access to the microphone.

  5. Do not lock your device during recording: To prevent any interruption of recording, do not lock your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone). If the screen locks or the device goes to sleep, access to the microphone may be cut off.
The app keeps the screen on during the recording, as long as the page remains in focus. If you switch to another application or page, the screen may turn off.

  6. Stop the recordingOnce you are done recording, click on the stop button. Your audio file will be automatically downloaded.

If the problem persists, try restarting your browser, checking if the browser is up to date, checking if any security extensions are blocking access to the microphone, or testing your microphone in another browser and/or web app.
